International Day of Yoga

If you're a runner, climber, lifter, tennis player, football player, baseball player, lover of life, or someone that just wants a great workout to help you relax the rest of the day or week, you need YOGA in your life.

 

If you've never tried it before that's okay. Start with a beginner's class at your local yoga studio or at your gym. A lot of gyms include it free with your membership. Guys... It will be the hardest workout of body and mind you've ever done. Don't be afraid of it. 

 

Yoga is embrace around the world. Millions of people use the wonderful practice. Here is how PM Narenda Modi of India defines Yoga: "Yoga embodies unity of mind and body; thought and action; restraint and fulfilment; harmony between man and nature; a holistic approach to health and well-being. It is not about exercise but to discover the sense of oneness with yourself, the world and with nature."

 

No matter what type of athlete you are, EVERYONE needs yoga in their life!
